I had fun looking through newborn clothes for Rebekah. I found the cutest peach outfit size 6 mos. Since she wears newborn, I made alterations. It's now a custom fit. Her sale will post Friday.

I have always used the same cloth bodies that other Reborn artists used. I do like them and it saved me sewing time too. However, I always found myself making a few sewing alterations to fit each slightly different sized heads, or shoulders that seemed too broad after adding arm joints. This week I'm working on Alyssa and Marnie. Marnie was the first reborn doll I painted. That Marnie spends her days with my grandma in her village condo. My grandma is going strong at age 102 !

The weekend after I finished Emmy I decided to take her shopping. I have only done this once before, taking a doll shopping. I always get a kick out of people's reactions to the cute "baby". Then, their reactions when they find out she's not real. This time didn't disappoint. I chose a small-town local store and brought my accomplice to video the reactions.
